2nd International PebblePad Conference: PebbleBash 2012
After 12 months of repeated questions about whether there will be another PebbleBash we’re delighted to confirm that you can put the following dates in your diaries: 19th, 20th & 21st June 2012.
This is going to be an exciting event just prior to the launch of PebblePad+ where hopefully we’ll have initial presentations from early adopters from Australasia and sessions on how people have implemented activities from the recent Pebblegogy book.

Pebblegogy Conference: 21 June 2011 (UK) and 26 August 2011 (Australia)
A conference, about a book, about ideas and activities to inspire and engage learners.
PebblePad’s long–awaited book, Pebblegogy: Ideas and activities to inspire and engage learners, was launched at a very successful one–day conference at the University of Wolverhampton on Tuesday 21 June. A follow–up event is taking place on 26 August at LaTrobe University, Melbourne.
The book represents a landmark for PebblePad, offering the most detailed explanation yet of what PebblePad is, what it stands for and why it works the way it does. It is written by PebblePad experts who have drawn on the experiences and contributions of the PebblePad community both in the UK and Australia
There was a great turnout on the day from across the UK. All participants picked up their copy of the book and had the opportunity to hear the authors and contributors talk about the ideas that informed the book and to describe some of the inspiring learning designs that are featured in Pebblegogy.
PebbleBash 2010 - 1st PebblePad Conference: 9–10 June 2010
A BIG thank you to all of the delegates who attended the recent PebbleBash 2010 conference at Shifnal, Shropshire, UK.
With over 80 delegates from 3 continents the conference boasted a wide range of educational professionals and students who all contributed their personal experiences of working with eportfolios in their respective disciplines.
There were some amazing insights into the various ways PebblePad is being used to plan, evaluate and reflect. We had some outstanding keynote speakers (and performances) as well as over 25 case-based presentations ranging in subject from Learning, Teaching & Assessment over Work-based Learning to some excellent Student Perspectives.
